Pedagogy
At Amra, we offer a unique integrated curriculum curated by industry experts. Our programs are focussed on experiential rather than traditional learning. Our learning goals are built on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This UK based framework sets the standards for learning and development in children.
Pedagogy
Drawing inspiration from the Montessori philosophy, our studios are carefully prepared to encourage exploration and self-directed discovery. Children are given the freedom to choose from a variety of engaging activities that cater to their individual interests and developmental needs.
Our dedicated educators act as guides, supporting children in their journey of self-discovery and providing gentle encouragement as they explore the world around them.
Curriculum
In alignment with the EYFS framework, our curriculum is designed to promote holistic development across all areas of learning, including communication and language, physical development, personal, social, and emotional development, literacy, numeracy, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design.
Through a combination of child-initiated play and structured activities, we ensure that each child receives a well-rounded education that prepares them for future academic success.
Individualised Learning
The development of children between the ages of 0 and 6 years is a complex and fascinating process that involves numerous developmental milestones across various domains. These milestones serve as crucial indicators of a child's growth and maturation, providing insight into their abilities and needs at different stages of their development.
Amra has no formal assessments but instead focusses on a longitudinal assessment. Our educators carefully document every child's learning journey across 90+ focus areas, and tailor the learning experiences and activities to meet a child's individual needs.
